Waves of Forgotten Lore

In every crest, a tale untold, upon the waves of forgotten lore,
Where whispers of ancient seafarers' songs touch the sandy shore.

They speak of lands embraced by gods, where myths in mists are born,
Through the waves of forgotten lore, our hearts and dreams are torn.

A siren's call, a mermaid's sigh, in depths where light dares not soar,
Secrets kept from prying eyes, in the waves of forgotten lore.

The mariner's compass loses north, as stars unseen before,
Guide us through the darkest nights and the waves of forgotten lore.

Here, Poseidon's fury unleashed, and calm, Neptune’s benevolent core,
In the tempest and the tranquility of the waves of forgotten lore.

And when the moon casts its spell, making silver the ocean’s floor,
We find solace, and ourselves, in the waves of forgotten lore.

So, let us journey, you and I, where time's embrace has worn,
To dance upon the cresting waves, and seek the wisdom yore.

For in our souls, the sea does sing, of mysteries galore,
Connecting us to ages passed, through the waves of forgotten lore.
