Embers of Lost Love

In twilight's grasp, where shadows dance,
Eclipsing stars, lost in a trance,
Two souls once joined, now drift apart,
Embers fade within the heart.

Their love, it shone like galaxy’s light,
A beacon through the darkest night,
But starlit paths have ways to stray,
And love's bright flame can wane away.

Like constellations torn asunder,
Whispers turn to distant thunder,
The cosmos weeps in silent sighs,
As love dissolves in starlit skies.

Yet in the void, the stars remind,
Of love once vast, though now confined,
In cosmic realms, where memories glow,
Embers of lost love still flow.
