Canvas of Constellations

Canvassed night, in your breadth, I find peace,
Against the dark, your stars in quiet increase.
Neath your gaze, my turmoil finds its release,
Velvet sky, a portent of the soul’s caprice.
As constellations dance, my worries cease,
Silent guardians in my night’s long lease.
Of your beauty, my awe shall never decease,
Firmament above, where my spirits release.

Constellations tell, in whispers, tales old,
Onward they journey, their stories bold.
Night’s canvas holds them, in its vast fold,
Spectacular sights, a beauty untold.
Their light, through ages, a guide behold,
Eternal watchers, in their patterns, we’re consoled.
Luring us to dream, in the night, so cold,
Luminous beacons, their mysteries unfold.
